Mechanical Engineer

E-magy is looking for:

As Mechanical Engineer you will be in the heart of our production. You will have the responsibility over the designing, installation and the performance of our equipment.

Role & Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designing & engineering of new or modified equipment, tools and machinery, based on user requirements
  • Testing and evaluating of designs to ensure performance will be as expected
  • Arranging and supervising equipment construction, installation and their initial testing
  • Participation in the process teams and support on mechanical issues and problems in the production equipment. Propose improvements, solutions for the investigated issues
  • Maintaining equipment and machinery and ensuring that malfunctioning is diagnosed and corrected as quickly as possible.
  • Manage, participate in multidisciplinary (international) teams in equipment realization projects

You can progress in this role and potentially develop into one specific area as the company grows and sees fit. This is a fulltime position for 40 hours a week, reporting into the COO.

We are looking for you because

  • You want to make a contribution to the energy transition
  • You want to transform plans into reality and you see complex technical issues as a challenge to solve
  • You are able to convey complex technical information within your team and to other stakeholders
  • You are an excellent communicator (E-magy's main spoken language is English)

Also, for this role we require:

  • MSc Eng. degree in mechanical engineering or, BSc Eng. degree in mechanical engineering with several years’ experience in similar position
  • Experience with mechanical engineering projects on high temperature and, or vacuum equipment, will be particular appreciated.
  • Skilled in computer-aided design and 3D modelling (Solid works)
  • Capable of translating product/process related requirements into innovative, efficient designs
  • Good communication skills to share your expertise with others and create support for his/her projects
  • Good verbal and written English communications skills
