As a Data Scientistworking within our Digital Analytics and Data Science Team, youhave the chance to contribute to important and high-impact featuresand value propositions of Albert Heijn. There are many excitingongoing and upcoming projects in the digital domain of AlbertHeijn. For example, helping customers find what they need and,thus, enhancing their shopping experience by working on the searchproject. Or helping our customers stay on top of best personalizeddiscounted offers via the beloved Mijn Bonux Box. Or suggestingmost suitable products during customer online shopping journeyusing recommendation technologies. 

As a member of theteam, you will also become part of the vibrant and 40+ analysts,data scientists and machine learning engineers. Your teammates havedifferent backgrounds and nationalities, which we believe is animportant asset. We work closely together with the rest of theorganization in cross-functional teams covering all the necessaryroles. This will enable you to work with engineers and analysts aswell as business stakeholders to deliver value for millions ofcustomers every single day. 

As Medior DataScientist, you:

• Build data sciencesolutions in the digital domains of Albert Heijn
• Solve problemsholistically through analysis, modelling and experimentation
• Code, A/B test and putalgorithms into production that serve in real-time our customers onweb and app
• Convey complex ideas todifferent audiences in an effective manner
• Work inmultidisciplinary product teams
• Work closely withproduct owners to contribute to product roadmap
• Share your knowledgewith and learn from other team members
• Have opportunity tomentor junior colleagues and interns

We’re looking forcandidates with:

• A master's degree indata science, Artificial Intelligence, Econometrics, ComputerScience, or other relevant studies. If no relevant study,demonstrably relevant experience and interest
• Knowledge of machinelearning and natural language processing
• Experience withrecommendation systems
• Proven experience as adata scientist with significant contributions to end-to-end datascience projects
• Experience in Pythonand PySpark
• Strong softwaredevelopment skills, able to write solid readable and testable code(Python, packaging, testing, CI/CD)
• Ability to communicatecomplex ideas to different audiences 
• Experience in rollingmachine learning out in production (MLOps, model life cyclemanagement, monitoring)
• Experience with cloudplatforms and using containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
