Hotel TwentySeven is an exceptional and sensational suite boutique hotel, located in the vibrant center of Amsterdam with a beautiful view of Dam Square and the renewed Rokin. Hotel TwentySeven, with a **Michelin-starred** Restaurant Bougainville and Bar TwentySeven, is a destination and sanctuary where everything is possible for our guests. As a true early bird, you are at your best in the morning glory. You feel at home in the kitchen, have a passion for cooking, and an eye for detail. With the breakfast you prepare perfectly, you provide a good start to the day for yourself and our guests. In addition to (independently) preparing various breakfast dishes, you are also responsible for the mise en place. You will be part of a small team that will also support you in preparing lunch and room service.
Your workplace always looks pristine, making it pleasant for both you and your colleagues to work. In addition to these responsibilities, you also ensure correct and timely orders. Hotel TwentySeven is a small boutique hotel with 16 suites. This means that as a breakfast cook, you start the day independently until the rest of the team supports you. All this working in the most beautiful kitchen in Amsterdam with a top view over the Rokin and Dam Square.
**In short, you will be doing this:**
* You are responsible for preparing various breakfast dishes, recipes, and planning;
* Prepare orders according to portioning and quality standards defined in recipes;
* Control food usage to reduce waste;
* Maintain hygiene and cleaning standards in the kitchen to (at least) comply with local health and safety regulations;
* Ensure a clean and tidy working environment, including refrigerators and countertops;
* Always adhere to the hotel's safety protocols and procedures;
* Support in preparing lunch and room service.
* Help with dishwashing or other kitchen duties;
* Work in a team and communicate with other departments for excellent quality and service;
* Occasionally communicate directly with guests.
