As a Senior Optical Design Engineer, your roleinvolves spearheading the development of cutting-edge optical andlaser modules and systems for diverse markets and applications.Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, often under theguidance of a Project Manager, you leverage your physics expertiseto translate specifications into tangible designs for subsystemsand components.

Your tasks /responsibilities are:

  • Responsible forthe development of high-tech optical and laser modules and systemsused in several markets andapplications
  • Working on and building theprototype
  • Involvement in software tasks,particularly in image and signal processing usingC++/C#
  • Hands-on work, including theconstruction of prototypes within our OpticalLabs
  • Engaged in installation, commissioning,and potentially providing support whenrequired

Functie-eisen

  •  6+ years of relevant work experiencein a High-tech / Machinery environment
  • Masteror PhD in Physics, Optical Design orsimilar
  • Experience in Optical Design andsimulations
  • Zemax
  • Programmingexperience in C++ is a nice to have
