All about the role

Performance measurement is a unique intersection of marketing and analytics, where data professionals can experience how data analytics solutions are being applied to real-life business problems.

Along with the Key Responsibilities listed, you will understand the key drivers behind marketing KPIs and provide insights into the PMKT organisation’s decision-making processes in different layers. You will contribute to mid-to-large-size projects and work effectively within a high-performing team, able to provide valuable development to newer members.

Various ad hoc projects will also come your way, including assisting the wider marketing analytics team with campaign performance analysis, Tableau dashboard development, and other strategic projects. 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• You will create data visualisations to improve business processes by creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards

• Together with a senior analyst, create deep-dive analysis that exceeds regular dashboarding insights, e.g. business case development, problem-solving data analysis, etc.

• Investigate and troubleshoot anomalies in marketing data, data products and data pipelines. 

• Work with multiple departments (various marketing departments, BI/marketing analytics, growth, data science, analytics platforms, etc.) and get a view of the bigger picture of data flows in JET from collection to processing, reporting to decision-making

• Execute and improve smooth workflow between SQL, python/R, Google Docs suite and Tableau

• Contribute to specific marketing analysis, from simple regression and trend analysis to complex clustering and advanced-statistics-based analyses such as CausalImpact, to identify business opportunities and abnormalities

What will you bring to the table? 

Here’s what we’re looking for from our Data Analyst

• Someone who loves to own the problem end to end and deliver with excellence

• 2+ years of working experience in Bigquery SQL ( R and/or Python is an advantage)

• Hands-on experience with Tableau, Excel/Google Sheets

• Good communicator, with the ability to develop strong business relationships and networks with stakeholders across a multi-national organisation

• Eye for detail, accurate and precise

• Ability to think analytically and be mathematically skilled
