Power Platform Developer
As a Power Platform Developer at West Coast Supply Group, your role is to govern, design, develop and implement business solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform suite. You collaborate with the Business Analyst to understand the business needs and translate them into efficient solutions using Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Page Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power Virtual Agents.
You create workflows and interfaces to streamline processes, automate tasks, and provide actionable insights. Your expertise in Power Platform components enables you to build and maintain scalable solutions that empower WCSG to optimize operations and drive business growth.
In this role you report to the Senior IT Manager.
This is how you tackle your day. You:
- Liaise with Business Analyst in order to gather user requirements;
- Develop and maintain custom applications, automations and flows to support our non-standard business processes;
- Design and build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Power Apps for web and mobile devices;
- Create automated workflows and integrations between various systems using Power Automate to streamline business processes;
- Develop custom connectors and APIs to integrate external data sources and services with the Power Platform ecosystem.;
- Optimize performance and scalability of Power Platform solutions by fine-tuning data models, queries, and application logic;
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Power Platform applications to ensure quality and reliability;
- Provide training and support to end-users to enable them to effectively utilize Power Platform applications;
- Stay updated with the latest features and capabilities of the Power Platform suite and recommend best practices for implementation;
- Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and IT professionals to deliver integrated solutions that meet business objectives.

We are looking for a Power Platform professional who can easily and quickly interact with different stakeholders. You like a dynamic and international environment where the pace of work can be very fast and chaotic.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Azure API’s;
- Experience in designing and implementing complex workflows and business process automation;
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Power Query M, Power Automate expressions, JavaScript, or C#;
- Familiarity with data sources and connectors, including SQL Server, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and REST APIs;
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and design scalable and maintainable applications;
- Affinity with Supply Chain, Logistics and Trade business is nice to have;
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and business intelligence concepts;
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions;
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
