Your responsibilities
As a Project Engineer in Water Treatment, you will accompany our national and international (large-scale) projects related to various technologies such as hydrogen generation or combined cycle power plants and make a major contribution to the energy transition. Become a part of #TeamRWE and let's tackle the challenges of the future together by fulfilling the following tasks, among others:
Successfully advancing projects with expertise in process and mechanical engineering (water treatment, wastewater treatment)
Reviewing and optimizing water concepts
Preparing feasibility studies, including for research and development projects
Managing contractors in terms of scope, budget, and deadlines
Creation of specifications for plants and systems and carrying out due diligence
Review of existing plants and assessment of shortcomings, including solution development
Concept development, design planning and procurement of plants and systems in the field of water treatment
Your profile
University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering or similar
Several years of professional experience in operation, maintenance or in challenging projects with plant manufacturers in the power plant environment
Experience in tendering and handling water treatment systems
Experience in project management and execution of projects
Strong communication skills as well as persuasiveness and drive
Business fluent in English
Advantageous, but not a must
Sound knowledge of water law and approval procedures
Knowledge of the automation of water treatment plants and their integration into higher-level process control systems
German or Dutch language skills
Willingness to travel at home and abroad
Interest in the topics of hydrogen production and Power2x
