The role 

The Project Manager facilitates and manages projects in line with the corporate strategy. You support and coach the Bugaboo cross-functional team(s) to achieve their project goals within the agreed time, budget and quality with the aim to launch products/projects within the agreed timelines/scope and within the agreed budget. 

You are part of the Innovation Process team (5 people) and report to the Innovation Process Manager. With this team you support our product development projects in collaboration with Design, Product Management, Engineering, Quality & Compliance and Sourcing. You guide the project teams through the processes and have a role in continuous improvement.

What will you do? 

  • Manage the overall direction, coordination and execution of the assigned project(s). 
  • Facilitate the overall direction, coordination and execution of the assigned project(s). Ensure that key metrics and decisions are transparently managed and communicated to stakeholders and decision making takes place. 
  • Stimulate effective teamwork. Coach team members adhering to the internal processes. Facilitate the team to act as the center of excellence of the specific project. 
  • Responsible for project progress, planning, opportunities, costs, risk, analysis, mitigation plans and quality in order to meet project objectives. Inform/address the stakeholders with critical issues, key opportunities/risks and necessary actions in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure adequate staffing of project team in cooperation with department heads to execute the projects. 
  • Coordinate reports, escalations and progress meetings for the team and Management team and implement assigned improvements. Ensure timely escalation of project risks, time, costs and quality to innovation team and or other stakeholders.
  • Support the development of Bugaboo’s standard project management methodology. 
  • What you will bring to the table 

    You are an enthusiastic forward-thinking individual with general knowledge of processes within, product development, production, supply chain, product marketing and global sales channels. Your educational background is preverbally in Industrial Design, Engineering or Business Management.

    You have a very good knowledge of project management tools and product development processes.

    You are a Project Management Professional with excellent analytical and problem solving skills. You have strong interpersonal skills and are extremely resourceful. 

    You have fluent English language skills as Bugaboo is an international company.
