The Position

As a TEM Technical Project Manager, you are part of our Global Service Operations Group CIP/PPI team in Europe. This CIP/PPI group is responsible for the coordination and execution of myPPI’s (practical process improvement ideas), submitted by Field Service and Central Service colleagues, along with the communication and coordination of TDA/NSR’s from NPD/Factory to the field. In addition, our focus is in Improving processes, part quality, communications, safety related issues, project transparency, and overall quality of life for associated personnel!
In this exciting role you will coordinate GTS resources for the completion of Service Documentation Requests (SDR’s), myPPI’s and Call Categorization.
In addition, as Project Manager you will be responsible for overall Practical Process Improvements (PPI), Business System Implementations and for other related activities in the Brno Thermo Fisher Scientific GSO department, along with the management of Mid-Range TEM portfolio within the myPPI-system.
You will work on preparing successful cases, to develop ideas into projects, influencing among your collaborators, ensuring alignment and to prioritize projects with overall business priorities within GTS and supporting groups.
You will also coach and mentor project teams to implement objectives applying PPI tools, and assist in validating the data and results that support the overall business strategy to include working in compliance with legislations and IMS regulations.
In order to successfully conduct this role, the CIP Project Manager will need to develop close relationships with colleagues from other GTS teams, but also with Central Service and all departments upstream of Field Service.
