### Must have:

### - This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2--3 days per week in the Cape Town office. - 4+ years of relevant experience - Proficient coding in Python, with excellent knowledge of frameworks like Django/Flask - Experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services - Experience working in an English-speaking environment - Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills - Basic understanding of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue - Knowledge of CI/CD practices - Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)

Responsibilities:

- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements - Collaborate with Frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements - Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability - Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests - Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting
