Functieomschrijving
The QA/QC Supervisor will act as an extension of theQuality Assurance Manager in the field, performing regular spotchecks and overseeing the daily quality control activities duringconstruction, executing observations, inspections and witness ofactivities.
The role demands a handson approach toensure that the EPCM contractor's work complies with the project’squality standards and procedures.
• Conducton-site inspections and spot checks to verify the quality of theconstruction work performed by the EPCM contractor.
•Enforce the project’s quality control procedures and standards asestablished by the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Reportany quality issues or deviations to the Quality Assurance Managerand assist in corrective action plans.
• Review the EPCMcontractor’s field quality documents, including inspection reports,test results, and certification records for compliance.
• Coördinate with construction supervisors to ensure qualityworkmanship and adherence to project specifications.
•Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in reviewing and approving theEPCM contractor’s quality documentation.
• Support theQA team in conducting audits and reviews of the quality managementsystem.
• Train and guide on-site personnel regardingthe project's quality expectations and inspection practices.
• Maintain and compile comprehensive quality control recordsand documentation for project archives.
Functie-eisen
• Degree or diploma in Engineering,Construction Management, or a related technicalfield.
• Proven fieldexperience (more than 10 years is preferred) in QA/QC roles withinthe construction industry, ideally on large-scaleprojects.
• In-depth knowledgeof quality standards, methodologies, and regulatory compliancerelevant to the Belgian construction industry.
• Exceptional observational skills, with a keeneye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability towork seamlessly with diverse teams and effectively managestakeholder relationships on-site.
• Ability to communicate effectively with on-siteteams and provide clear, concise reports tomanagement.
• Certification inQuality Control or Quality Assurance from a recognized institutionis preferred.
• Knowledge ofthe local language (Dutch) and English isessential.
• Valid VCAcertificate.
