QA Test Engineer Coordinator

Would you like to help drive the quality of our integrated systems to the next level? Then this might just be the opportunity for you!

We are looking for a

Test Engineer Coordinator

who has a solid background in QA/QC/QE and will mainly focus on test environments management but also participate in projects in the role of test manager/coordinator where needed.

What is your role?

Your specific tasks include:

  • Set up and maintain a test environment management framework: an operating model which has a set of processes, procedures and guidance which cater for the need to provide and support integrated pre-production IT environments throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Design, implement, maintain and update test environments: this includes requirements gathering, establishing hardware, software, network and data configurations and keeping them up-to-date.
  • Establish proactive controls to ensure that environments are provisioned and serviced in a timely manner, that they are used and shared effectively and that, when they are no longer needed, they are promptly decommissioned
  • Collaborate with other teams such as development and operations to ensure test environments support their needs.
  • Resolve any test environment issues. This includes diagnosing and fixing hardware and software problems, as well as managing resource constraints and availability.
  • Provide transparency on test environment status and performance through appropriate reporting
  • Work on projects and assist product teams with all common QA/QC/QE activities related to planning, preparation, execution (manual+automated) and reporting.
  • Together with your colleagues from the QA team drive quality awareness and maturity within the organization to the next level.

  • Your team

    Kramp's QA/QC team is currently formed by 6 highly motivated and versatile team members from different backgrounds who all share the drive to bring software quality to the next level. Your colleagues work mainly on test management and coordination for projects and they assist product teams with some hands-on test design and execution. They can bring their own ideas and make them happen. Also, they spend time as a team to work on QA/QC/QE related improvements our organization can benefit from based on a holistic software quality perspective.

    Who are you?

  • You have 6+ years of QA/QC/QE experience with at least 2 years of experience in Test Environments Management;
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology or something similar;
  • Certified in ISTQB or TMap, at least the foundational level but preferably advanced;
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure and networking components;
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • With your strong problem solving skills you apply a methodical and analytical approach to diagnose and resolve problems;
  • Your demonstrated project management skills enable you to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, set priorities and allocate resources effectively;
  • What do we offer?

    We are an ambitious, fast-growing, and financially sound organization. You can obviously expect:

  • 25 vacation days and 12 ADV days (based on a fulltime contract)
  • Flexible working policy in hours and location
  • Travel- and working from home allowance
  • Profit sharing bonus
  • Budget for training and courses
