Refrigeration Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities / Tasks
As Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for realization of the engineering, construction designs, material/equipment supply and project management for refrigeration projects. You are also in the lead for specific standardization, modularization and R&D projects. You consult and report to the Team leader Refrigeration Engineering on the work to be performed and its progress.
Your tasks:
Calculate/verify/match the (main) components of the system and the preparation of material specifications.
Responsible for the design and realization of refrigeration diagrams and parts lists.
Calculating all pipe diameters and calculate and select the needed accessories.
Set up draft P&ID for CAD engineer for non-catalog projects.
Execute the factory acceptance test (FAT).
Make preparation for orders (components and external assembly).
Preparation of the CE certificates (Machine Directive and PED) together with Documentation Support Officer.
Ensuring that our skids are build according to the developed engineering standards.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
Practical experience in execution and manufacturing methods.
Strong affinity in modular design thinking.
Excellent in English. Dutch language more than preferred.
Can "work self-employed" on solutions.
Good collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Other skills:
Industrial Refrigeration Contracting operational processes and procedures.
To use standards, safety regulations, testing requirements, country specific requirements, etc.
Materials knowledge.
The ability to independently organize their own activities and determine the work order.
