Axis EMEA (Europe, MiddleEast & Africa) is now looking for a Regional Director to lead Middle Europe, one of our 5 regional business units in EMEA. Middle Europe is and has for a long time been our biggest regional business unit where we have a very strong market position in the covered countries Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg.

The position is based close to our office in either Munich (Ismaning), Germany or Rotterdam, Netherlands with flexibility to work from home.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As the Regional Director for Middle Europe you hold accountability for the performance, operations, and personnel of the regional business (+100M Euro revenue and +100 employees). This entails overseeing sales, sales engineering, marketing, finance & operations, and human resources to ensure the achievement of our objectives while adhering to our values and honouring our channel and partnerships.
Your primary objective is continuously grow our business in line with our long-term company growth ambitions. To do so, you implement and execute our Axis and EMEA strategies while adapting to local market needs to optimize success. You lead your cross-functional and cross-regional team with a clear vision while living our strong core values day by day.
In this role you have responsibility for the top and bottom line and execute your job through a team of managers with responsibility for Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Finance & Operations and HR. Together with your team, you ensure the effective and compliant operations of your regional business unit.
You are part of the EMEA Leadership Team where you represent your regional needs while contributing to a strong EMEA organization with a common spirit and common ways of working. Through close collaboration with your peers from the other Regions and Functions you contribute to driving the EMEA head region forward in efficiency while staying close to the customer.
Given the international nature of this role, you engage with stakeholders, employees, and customers/partners across a broad geographical area. Travel within the region and partly to the Axis HQ in Lund is an inherent aspect of the position.
This role reports to the Vice President of EMEA.

Apart from above you should:
Have a university degree within business management or related field.
Have proven success from leading people and managers in an international sales environment (+10 years), preferably encompassing several functions.
Come from a solid sales background, preferably from technology and an indirect sales model.
Have previous experience from budgeting and P&L responsibility.
Be fluent in German and English.
