About the team 

The Commercial Enablement & Marketing team is there to make sure our Sales Teams have everything it takes to be successful. This is done by a motivated and professional team consisting of Bid Support, Solution Engineering, Marketing, Sales Excellence and Customer Success Management. Having the right forecast and sales pipeline is crucial to point our efforts into the right direction, this is where the Sales Forecasting Analyst makes an impact. You do this by collaborating with internal stakeholders where the Sales Team and Supply Chain Team are the main ones. 

About the role 

The Sales Forecasting Analyst is in regular contact with the Regional Sales Teams and understands what is going on with regards to the sales pipeline. This requires constant monitoring and close follow-up of the open sales opportunities in Salesforce. By doing this you understand both the successes and missed opportunities and the drivers behind. The way Salesforce is used by the sales teams is important for forecasting management and this is something you monitor as well. You follow the different sales opportunities and ensure they move smoothly through the different stages of the sales process. You flag any deviations from the standard sales process and if you see trends, you create an action plan to improve it. 
For sharing and understanding all these insights you build reports and dashboards so you can inform and influence internal stakeholders. 

Stakeholder management is an important aspect of the role because of the link to the Sales teams, Commercial leadership but also to the Supply Chain department who is depending on a good forecast to schedule the production. 

About you 

Education requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Analytics, or related disciplines 

Experience requirements 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in forecasting, data analytics or related topics 
  • Proficiency at MS Office package (mainly Excel) 
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) 

Skills required 

  • Analytical thinking 
  • Develop an understanding of market dynamics, enablers and demand influencers across various sales regions  
  • Project Management, focus on projects to improve forecasting within the commercial organization 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience 
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication skills and teamwork. 
  • Ability to influence at a senior level.  
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 
  • Able to influence and motivate others 
  • Pragmatic 
  • Effective presentation, written, & verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings. 
  • Experience with Excel and other reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. 
  • Build reports and dashboards on sales performance and forecast accuracy 
  • Detect process improvements and implement them 
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English
