Senior Android Software Engineer

You’ll be working on a variety of the services, tools and components and will be actively involved in all aspects of development. You will also be expected to
Design and build high-performing, reliable solutions for high-throughput, distributed systems using a variety of third-party and eBay internal libraries and frameworks
Integrate closely w/ colleagues in different functional groups and remote offices
Communicate effectively within your team and across teams
Balance strong ownership and teamwork
Research, innovate, deliver and grow
Job Requirements
BS/BA in Computer Science or related field plus 8+ years work experience or MS with 6-8 years of relevant experience
Experience developing Android applications & commercial software with Java and Kotlin
Experience with Jetpack Compose
Experience with Android Studio, GIT, Jira, profilers, Gradle and debuggers
Experience integrating with web services & using HTTP, TCP/IP and databases
Experience with Unit-testing
Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms
Code samples from private github repos, side projects, and open source project contributions is a plus
