Your role:
• As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you help the team in setting-up a new DWH environment in Microsoft Azure and deliver the existing on-premises data ingestion and data analytics functionality in Azure cloud. 
• You also contribute to fine-tuning the target architecture with best suitable tools / technologies. 
• In addition to being hands-on, you help / guide the team with best practices, technology standards, possible automations etc. in Azure cloud architecture.

What you will bring to the team:
• Candidate with strong experience primarily in Cloud Data engineering, Data warehousing projects.
• Strong and extensive experience in Azure components is mandatory: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of python /Pyspark, Datawarehouse and ETL operations is expected.
• Build and deploy pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Extensive experience in software development in an agile DevOps environment.
Nice to have skillset -
• Fair knowledge of Data modelling (specifically Dimensional modelling)
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified will be add on / good to have.
Other competencies -
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication & interfacing skills and able to work in a structured manner
• Eager to be open, learn, advice & implement new technologies.
Qualification- Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineer, or related field.
