We are looking for a Senior Chemical Analyst - Instrumental Analytics in Rotterdam Science Tower, Marconistraat 16 - 15th floor, Rotterdam 3029 AK NLD.
You join our new laboratory in Rotterdam specialized in the analysis of mineral oil components in food .
You are part of a dynamic environment with real added value for the consumer health and your scope of responsibilities includes:
to carry out chemical analyses of food and animal feed in accordance with instructions in a DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025 regulated environment
to perform analyses from weigh-in and measurement to data evaluation
to operate, controle and ensure the maintenance of state-of-the-art, qualified spectroscopic and chromatographic instruments
to implement the quality assurance measures in the field of analytics
to create and review the standard operating procedures (SOPs)
to optimize the work processes in collaboration with your colleagues
to coordinate the internal laboratory sample logistics
You will start with a 12 months fixed term contract with the potential for conversion to a permanent position thereafter.
YOUR PROFILE
You:
completed a training as a CTA, CBTA, chemical laboratory technician, food technology technician or similar qualification
have an initial professional experience in instrumental analysis and with state-of-the-art spectroscopic and chromatographic instruments, HPLC and GC systems and flame ionization detectors
have very good knowledge in the field of modern instrumental analysis, ideally also of coupling techniques or automation
are agile, solution-orientated, enthusiastict, conscientious and structured way of working
have a high level of personal responsibility, ability to work in a team
feel at ease in a work environment in evolution requesting adaptability and fast decision making
Dutch Native speaker and proficient in English
