As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the scalability and reliability needs of our rapidly expanding user base. Collaborating closely with our Cloud Tech Lead and partnering with our cross-functional Product Development teams, you will lead initiatives to optimize, streamline, and secure our cloud operations, setting standards and spearheading migrations and deployments.

How you will have an impact

By doing...

• Cloud Management: Design, deploy, and manage robust cloud architectures on AWS, ensuring high availability and scalability.

• Automation & Orchestration: Automate manual processes, paving the way for quicker and safer deployments using tools like Github actions, Kustomize and ArgoCD.

• Security: Implement and monitor security guidelines, ensuring our cloud infrastructure complies with industry best practices and regulatory benchmarks.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Development teams to refine infrastructure, optimizing performance and reliability. Also transition seamlessly into product teams as needed, applying cloud engineering skills directly to specific projects.

• Capacity Planning: Proactively assess and manage our infrastructure needs, aligning with our growth trajectory and business strategy.

You are a great fit if you have

• Cloud Expertise: A minimum of 5 years in cloud engineering, with profound hands-on experience in AWS. Expertise in other leading cloud technologies may also be considered.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) knowledge: Demonstrable expertise in tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent for automating infrastructure deployments.

• DevOps Practices knowledge: Strong grasp over CI/CD practices, with hands-on experience in tools like GitHub Actions.

• System Architecture experience: Ability to design robust and scalable cloud-native architectures.

• Continuous Learning mindset: Passion for staying updated with the latest in cloud technologies and best practices.

• Problem Solving skills: Analytical mindset to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

• Team Player personality: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing knowledge and learning from others.
