About the Role

As a Senior Dev/Systems Network Engineer, you will be joining a dynamic team of around ten IT professionals who set out to deliver and operate secure network infrastructure for our internal customers.
Building on our ambition to deliver our Platform Services applying agile practices, we are looking for a motivated & talented network engineer who brings a strong customer focus, a desire to understand the customer needs and help address their challenges. If you’re interested in all aspects of the IT services operational process (implementation, operations and support) you could be our ideal candidate.

In line with team objectives, policies and procedures, to advise, lead, control and follow through design, development of specifications, coding, testing and maintenance of high-quality application software, tools and development projects.

You will work with the Product Owner and Squad members to operate the Swift Enterprise Network / Internal Network

Participate in the day-to-day network administration and provisioning activities.

Perform Swift Enterprise Network network devices installations, and provide end user connectivity.

Perform Swift Enterprise Network Network Management software deployments and upgrades.

Perform investigation of Swift Enterprise Network problems (at Level 2) identified by the Daily -Operations Level 1 and the execution of the necessary corrective actions to address the issues according to availability targets

Manage the Swift Enterprise Network Carrier infrastructure maintenance for all SWIFT locations and escalate critical issues according to procedures

Be pro-active and provide improvements to existing processes and procedures

Perform the security integrity checks for Swift Enterprise Network Baseline compliance after major changes

Participate to the Swift Enterprise Network On-call 24 x 7 the whole year round (rotation)

Required to perform and support network deployments during weekend time periods

What will make you successful?

Professional skills

Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electronics, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience

At least 5 years of experience in a similar position

Autonomous, empowered with the ability to adapt and respond to change

Customer oriented and quality mindset

Open-minded, solutions oriented, and a true team player – gaining energy through collaboration with others.

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Willing to perform occasional weekend work & on call

Technical skills

Good Cisco knowledge is mandatory (CCNA or CCNP certifications are an asset)

Good knowledge on ACI products like Tetration, MSC (or Orchestrator), APIC is a must

Good knowledge on network Security: MACSEC / IPSEC, RADIUS, TACACS, 802.1x, ISE

Good knowledge on Routing Protocols: EIGRP, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, VRF, VDC

Good knowledge on Switching technologies: Spanning Tree, vPC, OTV

Good knowledge on WLAN: APs, WLC, Prime Infrastructure, CMX.DNAC

Good knowledge on Cisco NXOS & ACI (and Data Center technologies) is an important asset

Basic knowledge on Network Monitoring & Management Systems: HP NNMi, Wireshark, Infoblox, SevOne, DHCP,, Netmri is a plus

Basic Knowledge on DevOps related tools like Ansible, Terraform, Git, Jenkins.
