At Marel, we have invested in a Center of Excellence for Hyperautomation to take the next step in our automation journey. Therefore, we are looking for highly motivated individuals to join our hyperautomation team and embark on this journey with us. To help us with this automation journey we are looking for a Senior Integration Specialist 

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Integration Specialist, you are improving business and IT processes across our markets, locations, and divisions through automation technologies such as RPA, low-no code, integrations, and Artificial Intelligence.

In close contact with the business, you analyze business processes and develop integration solutions. Also, you have a keen eye for process improvement for our existing automation solutions and way of working. It is your responsibility to coordinate incidents, execute, and support upgrades and enhancements, and monitor the performance of the platform. 

The team is currently working with a broad set of automation technologies, such as RPA (UiPath), Low-Code app development (OutSystems), and iPaaS (Workato). We are gradually adding technologies to our automation toolbox and have the ambition to continuously improve our way of working. Thus, your task is also to lead new initiatives and projects with hyperautomation.

Main Tasks  

  • Identify, describe, and model the business requirements for existing and new integration solutions. 
  • Configure, develop and deliver solutions through changes and projects while evaluating the impact of solutions and changes on IT architecture.
  • Monitor the use of technology platforms for proactive maintenance and improving an existing landscape.
  • Provide functional and technical support for users of the application by solving incidents and problems.
  • Liaise with other IT teams on cross-application processes and business key users.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Design and develop integration architectures, Lead integration projects from conception to completion and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards. 
  • About the team

    The PLM team is an internationally oriented team and globally responsible for the Digital product highway, PLM solutions, other applications, and migrations. The team works every day on keeping the applications running smoothly. Next to that, we also are responsible for the development of new and/or enhanced functionality for these applications and its many connectors to other applications used in Marel. This means, among other things, that new features are developed, programmed and system maintenance is a standard part of our job. This position will focus on the translation of business requests to IT development solutions while ensuring IT requirements are included. Also:

  • Be a direct sparring partner for product owners, application managers and solution architect.
  • Configure, implement or integrate (new) applications/functionality together with programmers.
  • Work in an Agile Scrum method.

  • What kind of a person are we looking for?

    You’re the person who has already a few years of experience (at least 4 years) in a similar role and you have a keen interest in the newest technological developments. A familiarity with Automation technologies and having a programming background would be great. With a business knowledge of logistic, financial, and/or HR processes,

    You will recognize in yourself that you have the following competences:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, or equivalent.
  • You’ve worked with global ERP, CRM, and/or PLM systems
  • Solution- and result-driven mentality
  • Conceptual thinker with high analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team player willing to learn and invest in improving others
  • Fluent in English
