Senior Platform Analyst & Product Owner - ServiceNow
Job Description
As a Senior Platform Analyst & Product Owner, you will be involved in E2E application lifecycle management by collaborating with various stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include ideation, feasibility studies, roadmap development, project initiation, design, requirement gathering, user story creation, backlog management, testing, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of applications. You'll also focus on continuous improvement to ensure optimal quality and performance levels.
Your role:
Work closely with the stakeholders/business to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates and assist them to improve efficiency and ensure the quality delivery of the business critical and priority solution/features to meet customer expectations.
Contribute to and review program vision, roadmap, business value assessment and content presentations.
Support Intake business requirements and contribute towards solution design together with Solution Architects, Platform Analysts, Project Manager and other key stakeholders.
Prepare and participate in release planning, contribute to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation/prioritization of portfolio backlogs to continuously synthesize into program backlog and then to team backlog. Also, you will draft the team’s specific objectives for the program increment.
Envision integrated solutions across core systems/platforms to enable smooth data flow and process orchestration.
Work closely with Platform Solution Managers, DevSecOps Managers, and domain leads in supporting solution planning and other Agile Phases.
Facilitate inter-team dependencies in the respective iterations and promptly escalate issues, that affect product delivery and quality that are beyond the scope of influence.
Be responsible for Software Quality, Compliance & Regulatory aspects of the solution.
Look beyond the current scope of work and be able to propose newer IT business propositions to stakeholders and recommend innovations to platform providers.
You're the right fit if you have:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Service Management.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in ServiceNow developments\implementations
The ability to define functional and non-functional requirements for business needs.
Expertise in ServiceNow best practices, configuration, and customization to optimize platform performance and usability.
Ability to identify the strategic IT implications and opportunities resulting from major corporate strategies and change initiatives, strategic vision business models.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in Lean-Agile and DevOps practices
The ability to collaborate with businesses & stakeholders to gather requirements, assess business needs, and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
Interest in learning and staying updated on the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and enhancements to leverage new functionalities and improve platform capabilities.
