Your responsibilities
As a Project Engineer in Process Engineering, you will support our major national and international projects in the field of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) for combined cycle power plants, for example, and thus make a major contribution to the energy transition. Become a part of #TeamRWE and let's tackle the challenges of the future together by fulfilling the following tasks, among others:
You successfully advance projects in the CCUS field with your expertise in process engineering, particulary in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany
Preparation of feasibility studies - also for research and development projects
Managing contractors in terms of scope, budget, and deadlines
Developing specifications for plants and systems and carrying out due diligence
Inspection of existing plants including solution development for CCS retrofitting
Concept development, design planning and procurement of plants and systems in the field of CCS
Your profile
University degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering, energy technology, chemical engineering or similar
At least five years of professional experience in operations, maintenance, challenging projects with plant manufacturers or in the power generation sector
Experience in tendering and processing power plant components
Experience in project management and order management
Strong communication skills as well as persuasiveness and drive
Business fluent in English
Advantageous, but not a must
Experience in the field of CCUS
Knowledge of water treatment, flue gas cleaning, hydrogen and Power2X
German or Dutch language skills
Willingness to travel at home and abroad
