The Challenge

In this role you are the one driving, optimizing and delivering digital solutions for our farmers, customers and chain partners in Europe!.

This may cover a scope expansion or optimization within existing solutions or the development of completely new types of solutions in line with the strategy of Agrifirm.

Based on your knowledge of the agricultural and/or food sector, in combination with your digital development experience, you develop and present sound digital plans to the Business Unit Directors. You work closely with Sales, Product Marketeers, the Business Development manager, local product managers and management teams, as well as with external stakeholders and chain partners. This means that you are not only an important player within Agrifirm but also outside its doors. You will report to the Strategic Product Marketing & Business Development Director Feed Europe.

As a Senior Project Manager for Digital, you drive, coordinate and guard the integrality of the digital agenda of Feed Europe. This may include e-commerce, digital solutions for farmers or digital support for our advisors as well as unlocking data for artificial intelligence. Your role is to translate the strategic agenda per animal segment into supporting and affordable digital solutions. These solutions serve the needs of our customers and partners. These needs may include farm management optimization but also the acceleration of the sustainability agenda.

Your responsibilities

Have up to date knowledge of most recent developments in the field of digital and AgTech solutions;

Signal opportunities and act on them;

Build and effectively use your internal and external network to accelerate on the solutions;

Define and execute the digital Feed Europe roadmap;

Take ownership to secure the execution of the roadmap in line with the agreed timings;

Secure that everyone is on board and has a clear understanding of the job to be done;

Report on progress.

Academic working level;

Ten years of work experience in a similar role is a must. Knowledge of the agricultural sector an advantage;

Proven track record in working with external partners;

Proven track record in AgTech and Digital;

International experience and cultural savvy;

Proven experience with effective project management;

Proven experience in defining value propositions, business modelling and customer journeys;

Dutch and English speaking.

Furthermore you:

can operate effectively in a matrix organization;

are able to think in solutions and out of the box;

have good communication and interpersonal skills;

are practical whilst results oriented in a balanced way;

are a team player with project management skills;

have a can do and goal setting mindset.
