### - This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring 2--3 days per week in our Johannesburg office. - We have 10+ years of experience working as a software engineer. - We develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements. - We have experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API services. - We work in an English-speaking environment. - We have an analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills. - We are proficient in one or more of the following: PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, Kotlin, C++, Go, Scala, etc. - We optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - We implement automated testing platforms and unit tests. - We handle data migration, transformation, and scripting. - Nice to have: knowledge of frontend JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue. - Nice to have: knowledge of CI/CD practices. - Nice to have: familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
