Role Overview:

Greif, Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Network Planner to join our Global Supply Chain team in Europoort (Rotterdam). As part of our team, you would support sourcing activities, develop dashboards to measure KPIs for sourcing and supply chain categories and collaborate with others on implementing projects and processes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in a global environment.

Typical Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics to ensure compliance with the company’s standards and service level agreements.
  • Support procurement activities with RFP preparations, analyse proposals and model optimal award solutions.
  • Assist in evaluating and driving the qualification process of new suppliers.
  • Support working capital improvements and initiatives ( inventory reduction, payment terms).
  • Conduct ongoing analyses of sourcing and supply chain activities to report on business outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop key business processes and system functionality to support business needs.

    • Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferred with 6+ years of experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience with sourcing, category management, and/or supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team and to work effectively independently.
  • Fluent written and spoken English required, other languages a plus.
