Motion Controls international (MCi) , a Flex company, is the global market leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. Currently MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.
The Site IT Engineer will be based in Woerden, NL . This role is open for internal and external applications.
The Site IT Engineer has a sense of ownership of the IT Systems in the site, is responsible for installing supporting and maintaining them. While working together the IT Manager to continuously improve the IT landscape.
What a typical day looks like:
As part of the four-person team, you will mostly support with the following colorful tasks to support our three locations (primarily in Woerden, but also in Hoogeveen and Geldermalsen):
Delivering high-class service to IT users, enabling them to excel in their work Supporting IT users with hardware, software and network issues Processing and tracking requests to the central IT service desk.
Maintenance activities on the Local Area Network (LAN), Physical and Virtual servers, Storage, PDU & UPS.
Guarding IT security policy, Cybersecurity KPI's follow up, backup activities.
Performs the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of computers, servers, Zoom meeting rooms and other IT related systems.
Maintains PC assets in both a physical and logical manner and maintains their accurate tracking.
Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for end-user’s computers hardware and software, printers, and network connectivity.
Interacts with vendors to facilitate repairs of hardware, i.e. printers, laptops, desktops, network and server infrastructure
Install and package software, patches, updates on desktops, laptops, and personal devices.
Keep accurate tracking of all assets supported by Desk side.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Good written and spoken English skills.
A driving license is necessary.
Demonstrated experience with desktop systems and peripherals.
Working knowledge of PC architecture (hardware and software)
Advanced knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, Mobile OS – Android, etc., ghosting/imaging processes
Troubleshooting, problem solving and fundamental IT networking skills.
Knowledge of network & server architecture
Nice to have Skills:
Dutch skills
CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials
Aruba Certified Network Technician (ACNT)
PowerShell scripting skills (Deployment & automation)
Basic understanding of SQL Databases
