Nouvall Engineering Services is specialized inproject support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industry. Weprovide expertise in the field of Engineering, Project Management,Maintenance, Shutdowns, Construction and Safety.

Functieomschrijving

• Support the Engineering Manager in theperformance of his/her duties, deputising asrequired.
• Ensuring thefacilities are designed, built and commissioned in compliance withall relevant statutory and project regulations.
• Liaise closely with the EPC Contractor personnelat the Module Fabrication Yard(s) and Construction Site on allPiping Engineering matters, ensuring yard/field technical queriesare resolved in a proper and timely manner.
• Monitor all Piping Engineering design andprocurement work performed by the EPC Contractors and other thirdparty designers/vendors, providing oversight and guidance, ensuringthat all work satisfies clients’ specifications andstandards.
• Ensure detailedreview of all EPC Contractors’ and vendor systems, processes andprocedures, including PEPs, Quality Plans, etc for Pipingaspects.
• Provide PipingEngineering input into the preparation, review and approval ofProcurement procedures, the Project Supplier List,contractor/vendor pre-qualification, Purchase Requisitions,Invitations to Tender, etc.
•Lead audits related to the Piping discipline of the EPC contractorsand support audits from outside parties.
• Support the QA Manager in resolving PipingEngineering non-conformances, concession requests,etc.
• Support precommissioningand commissioning, etc. as required.
• Manage the relevant interface(s) withstakeholders, ensuring the operations function is well prepared foreventual project ownership, including the timely handover of theagreed Piping Engineering deliverables to support training,operations and maintenance procedure development, MaintenanceManagement System population, etc.

It would be advantageous if you wouldalso have the following background workexperience:
• Major projectexperience with strong design engineering/procurement backgroundand a broad understanding of multiple disciplines and theirinterfaces.
• Proven trackrecord of delivering leading SHE performance.
• Experience of supervising work in a Contractor’sDesign Office.
• Experience ofsupervising work in a Module Fabrication Shop.
• Experience of field engineering and/orconstruction on a major Construction Site.

Specific RoleRequirements:
• Degreequalified and chartered or equivalent in appropriate engineeringdiscipline.
• More than15years’ experience in Engineering role at Oil and gas orPetrochemical setting. Operations experience would be a significantadvantage.
• Seasoned andexperienced Engineer.
•Experience of layout and 3D model reviews are essential preferablyin Hexagon Smart 3D.
• Soundknowledge of key disciple areas including: Belgium Pipingregulations and laws & roles and Responsibilities of NotifiableBodies, and their equivalent.
