We are looking for software engineers with 2+ years relevant experience (medior).
In this role you will work on the different X-ray products of Malvern Panalytical by investigating and solving customer problems, supporting our operational departments in delivering and servicing our instruments and by keeping our products up to date by means of technology stack replacements.
What are your responsibilities?
You will acquire and maintain knowledge of the different software technology platforms and design principles being used within Malvern Panalytical.
You will propose and present realistic design options based on cost, market value and available capabilities (solicited or unsolicited).
You will define verification and validation strategies and write clear test plans based on the demands of multiple stakeholders.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
You have a bachelor’s/master’s degree in software engineering.
Your mindset is focused on customer satisfaction and wanting to help them to get the most out of our products. A programming language is just a tool, the problem of the customer is what you want to solve.
You want to work in a high-tech environment with the ambition to contribute to the development of new products and redesigns.
You like to work in a dynamic environment.
You have shown great organizational and planning skills in the past.
You are able to work independently from time to time but like to work together with colleagues as well.
You are strongly results-driven with respect to problem solving: Ability to understand and act as needed based on a problem description.
You have the passion to keep learning new technologies and to continuously develop yourself.
You have good capabilities in reading and writing English and Dutch.
You can express yourself in English and Dutch, or you are willing to learn this.
