Job Description
How does it feel if your software is used worldwide in high tech offshore equipment under harsh circumstances? For our innovation team, we are looking for an awesome Software Engineer who is passionate about technology and wants to join an advanced R&D team. We are aiming to develop the best visual processing, real-time control system in the geotechnical domain.
Our innovation team design systems for soil investigation on land and in the marine environment. The necessary equipment combines mechanical, electronic and software elements. As software engineer, you are part of an agile team and design, develop, test and document new features and enhancements. You will interact with clients, fellow engineers, and management team. You will participate in software design targeting cloud environment.
Your role
You focus on the development of good quality code using C#;
You interact with (internal) clients, fellow engineers, and management team to improve software products;
You continuously improve your knowledge and skills and participate in discussions regarding new technologies;
You bring new ideas to the team.
Your track record
You are familiar with Agile and passionate about software engineering;
You have a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline such as software engineering, electronics, or mathematics;
You have affinity and experience with electronic devices and hardware;
You have experience with C# and MVVM, WPF, multithreading;
Exposure to writing unit tests (functional and non-functional)
You have knowledge of serial communication;
Experience with CANOpen or similar protocols is an advantage;
You have the ability to communicate technical matters clearly and efficiently.
