SPX FLOW Technology Assen is a leading manufacturing company, founded in 1946, specializing in designing and manufacturing high-quality centrifugal pumps for various industries. With 21 different pump types and roughly 80 employees, we are committed to providing customized solutions to our customers.
Our markets include Industrial applications, as well as the Horticulture market. We proudly serve the global market, delivering our products and expertise to clients worldwide. We are located in Assen, The Netherlands, where we operate from a facility spanning 90,000 square feet.
Currently, we are actively seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of materials, and contributing to the seamless operation of our business. About Your Responsibilities
As a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, you are responsible for overseeing SPX Flow Technology Assen BV’s entire supply chain, developing strategic plans for procurement and the distribution network.
You will implement best practices to achieve operational excellence.
You will create goals with your team for the future set up.
You will take a lead role in the next steps in optimizing the supply chain and creating a supply chain based on world class manufacturing principles.
You will implement processes, tooling and operating models to support our future growth.
You are responsible for managing the day to day supply chain operations together with your team and other management team members of the operations management team.
You will be responsible for several strategic procurement categories to manage and align the strategy with the central group functions.
About You
You have experience in procurement and know how to manage strategic categories.
You have a strategic view on the supply chain.
You are able to take the company strategy as a starting point, translate this into concrete plans and set up actions to execute the plans.
You are a real people-manager with a hands-on mentality.
You have excellent communication skills.
You are able to focus on long-term results.
What Do You Need
A bachelor’s or a master’s degree in a relevant specialism.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Previous experience in a technical manufacturing company.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
Experience in designing lean and efficient supply chains.
Ideally you have worked in a company with WCM-culture.
You are motivated, autonomous and are prepared to take ownership.
Ability to work with cross functional teams and build relationships.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Experience with customs activities (nice to have).
Experience in an international company (nice to have).
Knowledge of SAP (nice to have).
