Supply Chain Manager Process & Tools

As Supply Chain Manager Process & Tools, your responsibilities include leading the team of logistic specialists who ensure the availability of the SCM owned applications like ERP, supplier portal, BI tool, etc. Additionally, you will spend a large portion of your time in leading SCM improvement projects across our 4 EWIS sites (India, China, Netherlands and Turkey). All of this needs to be achieved in a safe environment, ensuring compliance with SCM standards and governance. The Supply Chain Manager Process & Tools plays a key role in the execution of the SCM strategy. You will report to the Supply Chain Director. 

Job Responsibilities

As Supply Chain Manager Process & Tools, you carry the following responsibilities: 
• Provide daily leadership to the SCM process and tools team (6 FTE). 
• Ensure availability of SCM owned applications like ERP, supplier portal, BI tool, etc.
• Contribute to the development of improvement plans (business cases) within SCM projects to support the Supply Chain Management team.
• Lead SCM improvement projects from A-Z within agreed time and cost constraints.
• Provide timely updates (KPIs, project plans, and reporting) and escalate when necessary.
• Support SCM projects and processes from a continuous improvement and implementation perspective.
• Support Global/Site Supply Chain Management team in creating and/or implementing business standards.
• Provide input to the Supply Chain Director for designing relevant Corporate Strategy.
• Maintain, manage, and communicate results according to defined project KPIs and project governance.
• Apply PDCA approach, use A3 in case of deviations from the plan to ensure successful project delivery and sustainability.
• Responsible for the uniformity, accuracy, consistency, and accountability of the organization's official master data in local ERP and other supporting systems.

What do you have to offer to be successful

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain. 
• Min. 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Analytical, process-oriented, and strong communication skills.
• Affinity with automation/IT.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.
• Proactive and a self-starter.

What we do at GKN Fokker Elmo

At GKN Fokker ELMO, we make wiring harnesses for aircraft, which connect all the electrical systems in an aircraft. To make the wiring harnesses, we have everything in-house from start to finish. From complete engineering to our final product, the ready-to-use wiring harnesses, we do this for well-known aircraft manufacturers such as Boeing, Airbus, and Lockheed-Martin for both civil and military aircraft.
We produce these wiring harnesses worldwide at several sites. In Papendrecht / Hoogerheide we have 800 employees. This is what GKN Fokker ELMO is all about: quality and therefore airworthiness.
