We are currently looking for a Systems-Physics Engineer.

Role Overview:

As a Systems Physics Engineer at Malvern Panalytical, you will work on various X-ray products. Your responsibilities will include investigating, solving internal and external customer issues, taking part in new system developments to maintain product quality, supporting operational departments in delivering and servicing our instruments, and ensuring product compliance with standards and regulations through validation.

What are your responsibilities?

  • You will acquire and maintain in depth knowledge of Malvern Panalytical’s instruments, their analytical capabilities, and customer usage requirements.
  • You will investigate internal and external customer cases and improvement proposals, supporting quality improvement projects and contributing with your physics knowledge.
  • You will propose and present together with the development team realistic solutions based on cost, market value and available capabilities.
  • You will define verification and validation strategies at the system level and write and execute clear test and validation plans.
  • What do you need to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in physics engineering.
  • A customer centered mindset with a focus on solving customer problems while upholding quality standards.
  • A strong desire to work in a high-tech environment with the ambition to contribute to product development and product re-design.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Results-driven with respect to problem solving: the ability to understand and act as needed based on a problem description.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch (reading, writing, speaking)
