As a Test Automation Engineer at AHTechnology, you play a crucial role in enhancing the userexperience for millions of Albert Heijn customers. By leveragingcutting-edge tools and frameworks, you turn evolving insights fromonline and offline shopping into automated tests that ensure codereliability. You collaborate with your team to design, develop, andexecute automated tests for new features andfunctionalities.
The candidate joining the teamis expected to specialize in automating services and should possessexpertise in at least one automation tool. While the primary focusis on automation, the candidate may also need to perform an activerole in quality assurance, which could include manual testing.Beworking in a DevOps environment, and you are responsible for theperformance and the quality of the things you own as a team.

Composed of fiveDevOps engineers, the group handles the creation and upkeep ofthese services. The team is culturally diverse.

Therecipe for maximum customer impact
At AH Technology, you'll work forone of the biggest food retailers in the Netherlands. To becomesuccessful as our new Automation Tester, you bring thefollowing:
- Has 6+ years of experiencein Test Automation, mostly in backendapplications
- Is passionate about end-to-endautomated testing
- Experience in complexprojects running with big databases and/or backendsystems
- Has strong knowledge of API testing(e.g Rest Assured, Karate) and mockingtools
- Has strong knowledge of one of the testautomation frameworks (e.g Cypress,Selenium)
- Take a hands-on approach toimplementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, testdesign, automation and analysis
- Is comfortableworking in DevOps teams, with frequent, incremental test andrelease cycles
- Has ability to use a widevariety of open source and in-house technologies andtooling
- Has experience with Agile Frameworks,DevOps Automation and CI/CD tooling
- Hasexperience with Performance testing tools (Jmeter, Gatlingetc)
- Experience with Kafka, Azure cloud and NoSQL databases is a plus
- Owns the quality andtimeliness of delivery
- Strong communicationskills
- Has good interpersonal skills withthe ability to build and maintain relationships with internal andexternalstakeholders.
