Requirements

### Must have:

### - 4 to 8 years of experience as a medior tester, with a strong focus on API and backend testing. - Experience with (REST) API testing (JSON) - Experience with test frameworks, preferably ReadyAPI and Selenium - Experience with test automation in a CI/CD environment, such as Jenkins or similar - Experience with databases, such as PostgreSQL or similar - Experience with version control, such as GitLab or similar - Strong knowledge of the software testing lifecycle (SQA), test design and automation - Excellent command of English, both spoken and written - Bonus points: experience with batch processes, asynchronous flows, and/or payment or subscription domains - Bonus points: experience with microservices architecture

Responsibilities:

- Ensure the quality of the Subscriptions and Payments domain - Test complex backend processes and API integrations within a modern microservices architecture - Review specifications and translate them into manual and automated test cases - Expand and maintain test automation within a CI/CD pipeline - Test and validate batch and time-dependent processes - Maintain and extend the regression test suite - Report on test results, analyze findings, and advise on improvements - Collaborate in an international, agile team environment and actively contribute to team growth

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our Subscriptions \& Payments team, where quality, collaboration and continuous improvement go hand in hand. Together with Developers, DevOps and another Test Engineer, we help deliver reliable solutions that support all Nederlandse Loterij brands. Our domain serves multiple departments across the organisation, so we work with a wide range of stakeholders and contribute to products that make a real impact. We value equal voices within the team, encourage everyone to challenge assumptions and share improvements, and offer a salary between €4.400,- and €6.000,- gross per month depending on experience, a 32 to 40-hour work week, a bonus scheme, and a healthy varied lunch in our corporate restaurant for €3,25. Our office is in Rijswijk, and we mainly work in a place that best suits what we do.
