Trade Finance Analyst & External Market Funding
For our HQ in Europe: Rotterdam, The Netherlands we are seeking a skilled Trade Finance Analyst to join our corporate Treasury team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing liquidity, optimizing working capital, and structuring borrowing arrangements with banks. This is a strategic position with significant cross-functional interactions within Braskem.
Purpose of Position:
Manage arrangements for activities related to the companys working capital, focusing on the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and trade finance, enabling the feedstock team to pursue optimal buying strategy among suppliers and enabling the Commercial team to pursue optimal sales strategy.
Structuring long-tenor facilities with banks, bilateral or syndication, such as Term loans, Revolving Credit Facilities, True Sale of receivables, Committed facilities for LC issuance, etc.
Measuring financial KPIs such as DSO, DPO, cash conversion cycle, leverage, cash position amongst others.
Provide strong support to the business and develop relationships with banks, clients and suppliers worldwide.

Key Accountabilities:
Issuance of letters of credit on a daily basis to cover feedstock purchase;
Set up new financial structures in order to optimize working capital, liquidity and reduce funding costs;
Manage existing trade finance structures considering the strategy defined for working capital and liquidity;
Day to day relationship with banks, suppliers and clients;
Negotiate facilities agreements for new transactions and review existing ones;
Support management with bank credits approval, elaborating presentations and analyses;
Build, optimize and update internal controls & managerial reports.

Corporate Finance department as a whole
Technical / Management Knowledge
Bachelors degree in finance, business, accounting, engineering or international relations;
Corporate Finance experience is desirable;
Advanced knowledge in the office package (excel, word, power point, power BI, etc.);
Fluent English (Portuguese would be considered an advantage);
Trade Finance, Corporate Finance or Treasury experience is a plus;
Post-graduation, Master of Science, MBA etc. is a plus.
Pro-active self-starter, who can work well independently and in a tea, with willingness to learn.
