Role Objective:

This role plays crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our auto-related map data within designated geographical regions. Associate will proactively identify and track changes in statutory speed limits, electric vehicle charging station (EVCS) locations, and other relevant policies impacting the auto industry. By staying ahead of these changes, they will help keep the maps up-to-date and deliver a seamless experience for users.

Key responsibilities:

·Market research:

oStay up-to-date on key trends in the auto industry, with a primary focus on speed limits and EVCS expansion.

oMonitor developments in other areas relevant to ADAS functionality and user needs.

·Statutory change tracking:

oProactively research and identify changes in statutory speed limits, EVCS locations, and other auto-related regulations in your assigned countries.

oAnalyze official government publications, news sites, and other relevant sources to uncover these changes before they take effect.

·Policy collaboration:

oWork closely with the policy team to analyze the impact of identified regulatory changes on our map data and recommend necessary updates.

oAssist in formulating policies for the assigned countries related to auto-related data acquisition and usage.

·Data quality assurance:

oConduct regular "meta QC" and random checks of auto-related data in your designated region to identify and report quality issues.

oDevelop and implement country-specific quality metrics to track progress and effectiveness of data maintenance efforts.

·Internal collaboration:

oServe as the point of contact for internal teams (e.g., basemap, local data) regarding your assigned countries and auto-related queries.

oProactively share insights and information relevant to other teams working on auto-related projects. 

Requirements:

·3-4 years in Research (Specialized in Auto or Multimodal Transport or Roads planning or Highways planning)

·Knowledge of Speed limits (EVCS & other ADAS speed limits)

·Knowledge of signs & road types

·Fluency in English & Dutch (mandatory) & French (preferable)

·Technological savviness

·Comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment

·Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail

·Able to work independently, motivated, proactive attitude with a passion for learning and creative problem solving.
