We are seeking for a Warehouse Management System project manager to be based at Nissan Motor Parts Centre, Amsterdam to be part of the Supply & Distribution Digital Transformation team. The Digital Transformation team is currently leading a large modernization project aiming to replace the current mainframe system by state of the art cloud based software from SAP (S/4 HANA) and Manhattan (Active).

The project is carried out jointly with the Supply & Distribution team and our IS department and external vendors.

The Warehouse Management System Project manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Manhattan tool under the WMS project stream in close cooperation with other project streams.

Primary Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Digital Transformation Program Lead you will:

  • Take responsibility for obtaining WMS project stream goals and objectives
  • Plan and execute the various stages of WMS project deployment including design, configuration, testing and implementation in cooperation with IS and the software vendor
  • Manage risks and mitigations
  • Support WMS-SAP S/4 ERP integration design and testing
  • Support Technical implementation of hardware and network
  • Support change management / operational readiness including user training

    • Qualifications & Skills

  • Education Level: bachelor's/master degree (HBO/university)
  • High analytical, numeric and problem solving skills
  • Relevant project management experience; certifications are a plus
  • WMS implementation experience; knowledge of Manhattan is a plus
  • Supply chain knowledge and experience in mid/large size warehouse operations
  • Strong communicator in English, both written and verbal; Dutch proficiency would be an advantage
  • Team player; feels comfortable to work in a cross functional and multicultural team
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Access)
