The Assistant Director of Food & Beverage supports the Director of F&B in overseeing the operations of the Food & Beverage department. This role involves ensuring high standards of service, managing team members, optimizing processes and enhancing guest satisfaction across all Food & Beverage departments.
In this role you lead the Food & Beverage Operation of the hotel. Your focus is on the operation of our unique outlets; Grand Café Krasnapolsky, In Room Dining and Minibar for 402 rooms and 35 apartments, Michelin-star Restaurant The White Room*, our Banqueting department with 15 meeting rooms, our breakfast venue De Wintertuin and our award winning Bar The Tailor.
Your main responsibilities will be;
Ensure that the Anantara and LQA standards are being adhered to throughout the F&B Operations;
Continually work with the team to improve our own offerings with the goal of being the best in the market for creativity, service, choice and value for money;
Directly responsible for all Restaurants, Culinary and Catering areas, ensuring a smooth running, profitable operation within the framework of the hotel;
Supervise the performance of all Food and Beverage team members, facilities, sales and costs, to ensure maximum departmental profit is achieved;
Take personal responsibility for maximizing quality levels of product and service and guest satisfaction;
Supervise and co-ordinate pricing and preparation of menus, beverage and wine lists, and liaise with local suppliers;
Establish and maintain effective team member relations;
Prepare the Food and Beverage Department budget together with the Director of F&B;
The ability to build strong relationships with all team members within the Food & Beverage outlets and the other departments of the hotel;
In this role you are directly reporting to the Director of F&B.
Qualifications

We are looking for an inspirational leader who is passionate about Food & Beverage with at least 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in the Luxury Hotel segment;
Result driven with a strong eye for detail;
Excellent communication skills;
