B1/B2 Licensed Engineer – Base Maintenance - Amsterdam
CAE Parc Aviation along with our esteemed partner KLM are excited to announce that we are recruiting for B1/B2 Engineers with experience on the B737/B777/B787 & A320/A330. Main Responsibilities:
Ensuring (maintenance) processes on the ground run flawlessly.
Perform and supervise inspection, maintenance and modification activities.
Carry out the work according to the required specifications and in compliance with the various regulations (such as those from the Safety Management System)
Release aircraft to service
Improve the current maintenance processes.
Contribute to the further development of your team.
Work in a shift-based environment.
You will work in a team of motivated colleagues at one of the hangars, sometimes you will travel abroad! You will be part of the Airframe department, which is responsible for aircraft maintenance for the KLM fleet and global customers. Airframe is part of KLM Engineering & Maintenance. Together with Air France Industries, KLM E&M is a leading player in aircraft maintenance worldwide.
Minimum Skills & Experience:
You are an enthusiastic competent Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a great sense of responsibility. Delivering aircraft effectively and efficiently to the end customer is what you aim for, and of course you do this together with your team. You are not afraid to make decisions and show initiative; you do everything to reach your goals and are proud of what you work on. Connecting and making contacts also comes easily to you, which means you interact effortlessly with different people: from cleaners to customer representatives and from flight crew to your peers.
B1 or/and B2 EASA Part 66 recognised licence
Minimum one type rating on one of the following aircraft types - B737, B777, B787 or A330, A320NEO
Minimum of 5 years of base maintenance experience working on commercial aircrafts
EU Passport or VISA to work within The Netherlands
English language – good written and verbal communication skills
Dutch language skills not required
High level of self-discipline, self-motivated and work well as part of a team\
