BMS Engineer – Hyperscale Data Centre Project

Clear Engineering are working with a leading engineering and construction company who have a strong global presence. Specializing in delivering innovative solutions across various sectors, they are at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. I am currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to join their team and contribute to a groundbreaking hyperscale data centre project in the Netherlands.

As a BMS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Building Management System for a state-of-the-art hyperscale data centre. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals and have the opportunity to work on a project that pushes the boundaries of technology and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure, and commission Building Management Systems for the hyperscale data centre project.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and automation engineers, to ensure seamless integration of BMS solutions.
3. Conduct regular system performance assessments and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
4. Implement energy efficiency strategies and contribute to sustainable practices within the data centre environment.
5. Provide technical support and training to on-site personnel for effective BMS operation.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in designing and implementing Building Management Systems for large-scale projects, preferably in data centre environments.
3. In-depth knowledge of industry standards and protocols related to BMS (e.g., BACnet, Modbus).
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
