Creative Director, International , Ring
Ring is looking for a world-class creative leader to raise the bar of our work in international countries in Europe, MEA and APAC. We’re looking for a true all-rounder, who will work across multiple-areas and initiatives inside and outside of marketing to grow the Ring brand, deliver outstanding and inventive creative. This new role will be responsible for driving creative strategy for the Ring brand, will redesign our creative operations and put data at the centre of our approach and process.
Due to the unique nature and demands of the role, we’re seeking an equally unique profile. We’re looking for a candidate who has worked across multiple departments within a creative agency, or has run multi-disciplinary teams and / or a candidate who has experience working in a senior position within an in-house creative & production team. The right candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to design operations that deliver work at scale. They will need to be fluent in media and data, have a deep understanding of what makes a powerful brand and a proven track record of developing innovative and effective work.
Key job responsibilities
* Devise and advise on an advertising approach that allows us to effectively deliver advertising internationally, balancing economies of scale while ensuring that our work remains “local”.
* Build a more effective internal operating model for creative marketing. Partner with teams across the organisation including US marketing, operations, business intelligence and media teams to ensure effective inputs and processes for a multi-country model.
* Review our current agency and freelancer model, ensuring it’s fit for purpose and can meet our ambitions over the next 3 years.
* Partner closely with colleagues in the US to realise a global Ring brand and to develop new creative approaches and models.
* Collaborate, review and drive the conception and execution of new creative work for both country specific and multi-country initiatives.
* Dive deep to understand our customers in different countries and put this insight at the heart of our creative process and work.
* Partner closely with business intelligence and media to put data at the heart of the creative process, from inception to execution.
* Raise the bar of Ring’s creative work through curiosity, bravery and collaboration.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Amsterdam, NLD
- +12 years in creative marketing roles including at least x3 in leadership positions
- Track record of working within and / or managing individuals across the different creative disciplines
- Track record of delivering effective creative work
- Experience in working in international environments
- Experience in building data driven creative solutions
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a get it done attitude.
- Ability to deliver results with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects drawing upon
- Experience in working in an international start up or scale up a plus
- Experience in brand who leverage culture to drive local relevancy a plus
- Additional languages outside of English is an advantage specifically French, Italian or German.
