Director, Relationship Management, NL Institutional Solutions

In this role you will retain existing Netherlands (NL) Institutional clients through proactive maintenance and development of relationships with both clients and their consultants.

You will build relationships with new clients won by the wider NL Institutional Business, cross sell to existing clients where possible and appropriate and participate in the origination of new business and the sales process.

How you'll spend your time...

  • Understanding the client and their requirements
  • Taking every opportunity to improve the client experience
  • Delivery of SLA in respect of client tiering
  • Ensure timely response to day to day queries
  • Escalate issues as appropriate
  • Communicate investment strategy ideas and market intelligence in a pro-active manner
  • You will be an advocate for the client within Columbia Threadneedle Investments and seek the status of "trusted adviser" with clients. You will Leverage the time and resources of the investment teams effectively and ensure Salesforce accurately reflects all client details, contact activity and pipeline

    You will be expected to maintain up to date knowledge of investment markets and our strategies in order to be able to discuss the same with clients and their consultants whilst achieving all applicable regulatory and risk management standards defined to manage Money Laundering / Terrorist Financing and Sanctions risks.

    To be successful in this role you will have...

  • Prior relevant work experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with fluent Dutch and excellent written and spoken English
  • Innovative: monitors external developments and translates these into product innovation
  • Can operate as strategic partner with the ability translate knowledge into advice
  • Must be a strong team player who is hands on, resilient and results oriented
  • Self motived who is able to function independently and take responsibility for initaves
  • It would be great if you also had

  • CFA/RBA level 1
