The role:

Lineage is recruiting for a Director in Revenue Management to lead the department based in our European headquarters in Rotterdam, Netherlands. In this role you will work closely with our Leadership team and Sales team, developing and execute revenue strategies that help Lineage continue to grow our business and improve our margins. This role can be based in our office in Rotterdam or consider candidates living within Netherlands with frequent visits to Rotterdam.

This is a hybrid role with dual reporting into the VP of Finance for Europe and Senior VP in Global Pricing Revenue Management.

About you:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales and operations to develop pricing strategies, including customer RFPs

  • Focus on keeping our buildings fully utilized, optimizing the customer mix, and charging market rates for our services and facilities

  • Develop pricing models, solutions, and strategies that meet customer’s needs while minimizing Lineage’s risk and maximizing our profit

  • Standardize and optimize pricing strategies, tools, and rate structures across the region’s services and geographies, including integrating new acquisitions through extending our best practices

  • Be the lead in deploying a centralized quoting, pricing, and invoicing system in the region (CPQ)

  • Improve financial margins by proactively analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; collaborating with sales to create and execute improvement plans

  • Partner with other regions to share best practices on pricing strategies and tools

  • Communicate and foster the development of a common vision. Energise people behind a sense of purpose by providing clarity of priorities and strategies

  • Create a climate of innovation where people feel comfortable offering ideas. Share wins and successes with team and create a feeling of belonging

  • Create executive dashboards that show how we are tracking against our commercial goals

  • Help drive system and process improvements that better accomplish the above

  • Who we’re looking for:

    We are looking for a proactive individual that understands using technical skills to extract data, create models and identify optimal business decisions and be highly collaborative to thrive working in a team environment. Working as part of a global company you will work with a broad range of stakeholders, working together to achieve the best results.

  • Typically have 10 years of experience within revenue management with prior experience in pricing, contract negotiations, and sales support strongly desired

  • Must have the ability to be “hands on,” including directly developing financial models and analysis

  • Experience in leading organizations to drive change

  • Demonstrated experience in building high performing teams as well as managing through influence

  • It would be beneficial with knowledge within supply chain, cold storage, or food industry but not a must

  • Naturally collaborative and defines success as a team

  • Strong customer service, problem solving and influencing skills

  • Strong time management and organisational skills

  • Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)

  • Fluent in English and strong verbal and written communication skills
