Your responsibilities
Professional and disciplinary management of the operational purchasing team and further development of employees
Implementing and helping to shape the specified product group strategies and objectives of operational purchasing in consultation with the divisional management
Further development of operational purchasing and the ordering processes, taking into account the established corporate strategy
Carrying out and organising tenders for all product groups in direct and indirect purchasing in a national and international environment, taking into account the specified key figures
Ensuring smooth purchasing processes as well as security of supply and material provision in compliance with deadlines, costs and quality
Responsibility for order processing, delivery date tracking, invoice verification, complaints processing and master data maintenance
Responsibility for coordination and communication between strategic purchasing, divisional management and other internal departments such as production and logistics
Conducting price and quality negotiations
Your skills
Successfully completed studies in the field of (technical) business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
Relevant professional experience in (operational) purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment
Initial management experience and the ability to lead and develop growing teams
Knowledge of cost and price structure analyses and a willingness to work on a KPI basis
Strong analytical skills as well as strong cost awareness and a target-orientated way of working
Strong communication skills, team player with a motivating leadership style, entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to help shape and implement new processes, structures and strategies
Organisational and negotiating skills
Very good user knowledge of MS Office
Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
