JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this role as Director of Roadmap Commercial Management is to lead and handle the total roadmap spent via Quartz contract. You will be accountable and responsible for the the following:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for E2E Roadmap charges management i.e. forecast, increase, decrease, transfer
- Accountable for quarterly RDUs (Roadmap Delivery Units) commercial management
- Accountable for non-RDU Roadmap spend i.e. SoW work packages
- Responsible to ensure cost efficiency across all roadmap RDUs areas: Entertainment, Connectivity, Networks Security
- Ensure quarterly RDUs review: calibration, categorization, sizing, P*Q calculation and approval
- Drive Onshore/Offshore balancing
- Ensure Roadmap costs correct allocation
- Act as Roadmap build commercial Escalation point of contact
- Track and meet all commercial Quartz roadmap build kpis
- Drive RDUs value for money improvement
- Be responsible for the total Budget allocation & governance: Assuring budget requests are raised and released in time
- Document and PO compliance: Handling the Roadmap Purchase to Pay process
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Extensive technical service delivery with proven track record in Platforms cost management, dimensioning and/or platforms life cycle commercial managements: IT, Networks, Entertainment type of platforms
- Experience with developing teams (direct & indirect) with record of people management in a technical environment and different cultural background, including communication, negotiation, conflict resolution skills
- Fundamental knowledge of IT, Networks and platforms standard methodologies
- Must be commercially aware and adept in P&L, budgeting, financial reporting, resource management
- Deep understanding and experience of technologies, supporting tools, platforms and solutions
- Expertise in driving operational efficiencies
- Experience of project management techniques including planning, resource allocation, prioritization and escalation
- Fluency in English both written and spoken and preferable 1 other European language

PREFERRED EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree or Equivalent in Telecommunications, Business Administration, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
- Extensive experience in large carrier Telco or Cable provider with International presence across Europe
