As a Designer you will find it a challenge to be atthe start of the design of electrical / electromechanical modules /machines for our clients. You are part of the Electromechanics teamwithin the Design & Engineering department and you participatein an internal project team. That means that you are the linkbetween the project leader, architect and other team members.Together with around 35 fellow designers, you are responsible forthe electromechanical part of the solution that we produce for andin consultation with our customers. You maintain contact withcustomers in the context of assignments and you are regularlyactive at the customer's house. By asking the right questions, youget the customer's wishes above the table so that we can produce asolution that meets the customer's needs as much as possible. Inthis position you also work together with the Mechanical andEmbedded System team.

Your duties alsoinclude:

• drafting and reviewing modulespecifications together with thecustomer;
• convert the data supplied by theexternal or internal customer into 3D models and productiondrawings;
• independently designing,implementing, testing and documenting hardware (electrical /electromechanical) in which you use state-of-the-artmethods;
• developing test andtools;
• assisting in putting the developedproducts into production;
• preparing andmonitoring schedules;
• maintaining contacts withcustomers, whether or not focused on an ongoing project andexpanding the customer network;

Functie-eisen

• A Bachelor or University degree inElectrical Engineering, Electromechanics orMechatronics;
• Relevant work experience in aposition such as, for example, a designer, engineer orconstructor;
• Good knowledge and experience withMS Office Word and Excel;
• Experience withSiemens NX or another 3D design package is anadvantage;
• Good communication and writingskills in Dutch and English;
• Willing to performyour work on location at thecustomer;
• Available full time and able to startquickly.
