• Develop control concepts for H2 enginesand hybrid applications
• Focus on designing control concepts forengine systems (e.g., Cooling controls, Engine brake, EGR controls,OBD monitoring)
• Improve existing controls to meetcustomer demands and EU/NAlegislations
• Create controller concepts based on newemission and OBDrequirements
• Integrate control concepts betweensuppliers and internalstakeholders
• Verify control concepts with SIL, HIL,or RCP on an engine
• Document controller-related requirementsat the engine systemlevel
• Support calibration engineers withpre-calibration of newconcepts
• Continuously improve related tools andprocesses
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary projectteams

Functie-eisen

• MSc in Automotive or MechanicalEngineering with a focus on dynamics andcontrol
• Experience with hydrogen engine andhybrid control concepts
• Knowledge of engine and aftertreatmentcontroller development, EU/NA emissions, and OBDregulations
• Experience with Six Sigma processes(e.g., DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma, FMEA, MonteCarlo)
• Understanding of requirement engineering(IREB certificationpreferred)
• Familiarity with development processmodels like SPICE(preferred)
• Proficiency in Matlab andSimulink
• Experience with Doors Next Generation(preferred)
• Competencies: initiative, cooperation,communication skills, attention to detail,perseverance
• Proficiency in English (Dutch skillspreferred)
