Equipment Reliability Engineer
We are searching for an Equipment Reliability Engineer for our client in the region Terneuzen.

In this role you will facilitate development of the business / facility maintenance strategy.
You will solve reliability and availability losses through application of reliability technology. By using tools to enable to meet it's business plan on the plant and therefore the customer’s need.
This result is achieved by focusing on those opportunities that over a long-term period or historically has impacted the plant’s measured asset capability and the opportunities identified as "high-risk" in risk assessments, reliability models, etc.
Main responsibility are:
Create, modify, improve and implement equipment reliability strategies for 7 plastic trains.
In addition responsible for :
Achieves plant Equipment Reliability Strategies targets. Creates Equipment Reliability Strategies based upon Top Opportunity List, Critical Equipment List, and identified plant/business needs : failure modes analysis, preventive and maintenance program revision, spare revision, procedures creation. Evaluates effectiveness of individual aspects of the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) program by showing quantitatively the impact of failures and PPM. Facilitates and/or contributes greatly to driving proactive PPM Optimization activities to support overall productivity improvements. Uses reliability engineering principles and tools to increase Asset Capability and Asset Mechanical Reliability. Participates in plant health study and efforts to implement corrective action to maintain or improve plant health. Develops maintenance operating discipline. Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions. Supports the preventive maintenance coordinator, as required, in reviewing spare parts list for existing equipment. Completes EH&S orientation and all required training. Exhibits safe work behaviors and works safely without injury or insult to the environment. Fulfills all requirements of the production area and/or maintenance area EH&S. Gives support to turnarounds.
Je profiel
A Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Material Science / Metallurgical Engineer. Root Cause Investigation Training certificate. Fluent use of Dutch and English language. Experience in chemical industry as operations engineer, maintenance engineer or reliability engineer is required(!). VCA-VOL.
