- Contribute to the development ofheavy-duty diesel engines, emphasizing engine performance andcalibration of Electronic Control Unit (ECU)functions.
- Participate in the calibration anddevelopment of mechatronic components integrated into the enginesystem.
- Engage in various engine calibrationtasks as part of a team, all aimed at achieving the best possiblefuel economy and performance within definedlimits.
- Proactively seek opportunities toenhance tools and processes used in the calibrationwork.
- Document test results, tool usage, andpotential improvements for reference and futureuse.
- Collaborate within cross-functional teamsto provide support for diverse projects.
- As anengine performance calibration engineer, you will report to theEngineering Supervisor within the Emission Calibrationteam.
Functie-eisen
- Possess a Master's degree in AutomotiveTechnology, Mechanical Engineering, orMechatronics.
- Demonstrate a strong interest andfamiliarity with internal combustionengines.
- Prior experience in engine testing,particularly with heavy-duty truck engines, is highlydesirable.
- Previous exposure to heavy-dutytruck engine calibration would be a significantadvantage.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, includingmodeling and scripting, is preferred.
- Possessknowledge of statistical principles andmethods.
